Trains, ports and progress
Rumo was created for the logistics of sugar for export, being a world leader in this segment. But today, it also conducts other activities such as storage of containers and general cargo, as well as, other bulk shipment and transport of fertilizers. Rumo operates seven transshipment terminals - four proprietary and one of the most modern in Brazil, in Itirapina, in addition to the Port Terminal in Santos, which has the largest capacity of railway reception and the deepest draft of bulk Terminal at the Port of Santos, which is 13.5 meters deep.
The continued growth of Rumo is a result of knowledge and investments in technology and modernity:
