Fundação Pedro Ometto (Foundation) The management and maintenance of Fundação Pedro Ometto, in Barra Bonita, are also an integral part of COSAN’s social responsibility policy. This entity, created in 1966, mainly aims at promoting the improvement of life quality of COSAN’s employees and dependants. During crop season, the foundation assists approximately 7 thousand employees and 11 thousand dependants and during crop off-season nearly 5.8 thousand employees and 9.6 thousand dependants, by rendering health and dental services.
