Production indicators Growth COSAN Group has been showing a solid pace of growth in the sugar and ethanol production over the past years. Between 2001 and 2006, sugar manufacturing jumped from 1.2 million to 3.24 million tonnes. During same period, the ethanol production increased from 354 thousand m³ to 1,266 mil³. Diversification of product portfolio The acquisition of Da Barra unit in 2002, was a key driver of such result and also enabled to diversify COSAN’s products portfolio.
