Costa Pinto, COSAN Group’s headquarters, is one of the largest ones in Brazil. Continued investments in research and technological innovation made COSAN one of the most modern manufacturing units of such industry. COSAN was born in a unit located in the most traditional sugarcane region of the state, which enabled Costa Pinto to incorporate various other manufacturing units of the region, as a manner to expand its agricultural boundaries and its industrial capacity. Such unit is certified by the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 related to the manufacturing process of hydrated ethyl ethanol, anhydrous and distilled ethanol.
