This unit, funded in 1996, is located at the far west region of the state and has always been renowned for its state-of-the-art anhydrous ethanol production technology, exemplified by its use of molecular screening. In 2005, it invested in the construction of sugar mill and has been producing VHP (Very High Polarization) sugar since 2007. Gasa is another Group facility that makes use of the Unimodal Transport terminal on the Tietê River, a pioneer in the integration of road-waterway fuel transport.
