São Francisco is exclusively concerned with the production of granulated refined sugar and crystal sugar, and started to receive from 1990, large investments in equipment and state-of-the-art technology, which modernized its manufacturing processes. Such investments, associated with a continued improvement of its work practices, resulted in the certification of its Quality Management System by ISO 9001:2000 for the crystal sugar and granulated refined sugar manufacturing process.
