    Established through a joint venture between Cosan and Shell, Raízen is one of Brazil’s top four companies in terms of revenue. With production capacity of 3 billion liters of ethanol and crushing capacity of 105 million tons of sugarcane in 35 bioenergy complexes, it is also Brazil’s second largest fuel distributor and main sugarcane ethanol producer, as well as the largest individual exporter of sugarcane in the international market.

    The company’s operations are grouped into two segments: Distribution, where it operates through two entities – Comgás, the largest natural gas distributor in Brazil, and Commit, a partnership with Mitsui, which boasts a robust portfolio of stakes in over 11 gas distributors; and Marketing & Services, which is committed to the development of the free natural gas market, providing flexibility, security, and reliability to consumers through Edge, which groups strategic assets such as TRSP, biomethane contracts, and B2B LNG.

    Moove focuses on the production and distribution of Mobil brand lubricants in the Americas and Europe. In addition, its portfolio includes a wide range of greases, fluids, specialty products and basic oils. The company also produces and distributes, from its plant in England, COMMA lubricants and own-brand lubricants in over 40 countries in Europe and Asia.

    Rumo is the largest private freight railroad operator in the country and offers a safe, competitive and low-carbon logistics solution to support the growth of Brazilian agribusiness. We cross Brazil from North to South, managing 13,500 kilometers of railroads in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Goiás and Tocantins.

    The asset base consists of 1,400 locomotives and 35,000 wagons. There are more than 8,000 employees throughout Brazil, 9 transhipment terminals along the network and 6 port terminals in the main Brazilian ports.

    In 2023, we became the only Brazilian company in the logistics sector to be included in the international Dow Jones Sustainability Index, as well as being included for the third consecutive year in the B3 ISE portfolio, the main benchmark in the country for recognizing companies with the best sustainability practices.

    Its railroad concessions serve the three main export corridors for agricultural commodities, boosting the competitiveness of agribusiness in the global market.
